      State of Pet Health Report available online to pet owners, industry

      New website provides PDF report, resources on diseases affecting pets

      Banfield Pet Hospital, a chain of veterinary practices throughout the US, has made The State of Pet Health Report available for the first time to consumers, retailers and pet industry members on a new website, www.stateofpethealth.com.

      Visitors to the new site can not only access a full PDF version of the report, but also news, veterinarian insights, and tips on diseases affecting pets, including overweight and obesity, kidney disease, heart disease and thyroid disease.

      Pet owners can also check their pet's Body Condition Score on the website, look up their pet's daily caloric needs, look into geographic trends and more to help pets live a longer, healthier life.
