After the earlier launch of a food truck for dogs, Chef Michael’s petfood brand is launching a national sweepstakes to support building a dog-friendly food truck community. Food truck patrons can also enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win a US$500 cash prize or coupon redeemable for free Chef Michael’s product.
The “Chef Michael’s Food Truck for Dogs Sweepstakes” will award 25 food trucks with a US$1,000 cash prize to make dog-friendly improvements, Chef Michael’s food dispensers for dogs, and a one-year supply of Chef Michael’s product. The winners will be announced in January 2013.
Consumers can also follow the sweepstakes on Twitter @thefoodfordogs account and send tweets using the hashtag #foodtrucksweepstakes while tagging a food truck of their choice to be entered to win the grand prize of US$500 or one of 25 first-place prizes, including free petfood products. A list of food truck stops can be found on the company’s Facebook page.
