PaperWorks invests in enhanced printing, packaging capabilities

Packaging provider installs new equipment to offer new printing options, expands facilities

      Release Date: Comments(0)

PaperWorks Industries Inc., a full-service packaging provider, is enhancing its printing capabilities, with several packaging projects underway at locations across North America.

PaperWorks installed a large-format Flexo press to increase production speed, enhance print quality and reduce waste, which is expected to be operational in spring of 2012. A large-format, sheet-fed offset press was also installed that offers new printing options and improved color quality.

Additionally, the company made a 240,000-square-foot expansion to its facility in Baldwinsville, New York, USA, while its Greensboro, North Carolina, USA, facility was expanded from 45,000 to 105,000 square feet. The company also installed a new air handling system in a separate facility to support sheeting capabilities.
