      Silliker offers 2013 petfood safety training programs

      Food safety curriculum courses offered both online and in person

      Silliker Inc. offers a new 2013 Food Safety Training program, which includes a range of educational offerings for the food and petfood industries. 

      Online curriculum courses are offered via SISTEM Express Powered by Silliker, in partnership with Alchemy Systems, designed to help processsors meet Global Food Safety Initiative and other industry-specific compliance requirements. Training modules include: Food Safety for Food Manufacturers, Life Skills, Restaurants, Food Service and Restaurants, and Animal Welfare. Multimedia training is also offered via downloadable training programs on Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP. 

      Additionally, a range of public short courses are offered, including: Practical HACCP for Food Processors, Internal Auditing in a Food Plant, Crisis Management and Food Defense, Effective Environmental Monitoring and Aseptic Techniques, Sensory and Laboratory Shelf-life Studies for Food Products, and more. Silliker specialists can also customize programs for specific food safety needs and provide on-site training.
