JRS acquires pet care products company Absorption Corp.

Private-equity firm Kinderhook Industries LLC sold the parent and operating companies of Absorption Corp., an American manufacturer of cellulose-based absorbent products for pets, to manufacturing company J. Rettenmaier & Söhne Group. Absorption Corp., a company of Kinderhook since 2010, includes the pet care brands CareFRESH, Healthy Pet and CritterCare.

Private-equity firm Kinderhook Industries LLC sold the parent and operating companies of Absorption Corp., an American manufacturer of cellulose-based absorbent products for pets, to manufacturing company J. Rettenmaier & SÃ¶hne Group.

Absorption Corp., a company of Kinderhook since 2010, includes the pet care brands CareFRESH, Healthy Pet and CritterCare. JRS, a manufacturer of pet care products like litter and bedding, will use Absorption Corp. as a platform for consumer products growth in North America.
