All Packaging Machinery Corp. offers a vertical band sealer for stand-up pouches (model VCBS 1/8 -TX-6x5). This USDA-approved sealer will seal and trim a variety of different materials including laminates, polypropylene, polyethylene and foil, according to the company. Seal widths are available in 1/8-, 1/4- or 3/8-inch. The trim feature comes with an on/off option, and seal-only models also are available. The sealer includes a 6-inch-wide by 5-foot-long variable speed support conveyor.
