Charles Ross & Son Co. provides a bench-top multi-purpose laboratory mixers in its model HSM-100LSK-I. The mixer has interchangeable mixing attachments including batch and inline rotor/stator sets, various size disperser blades and propellers. The mixer is designed for a variety of mixing tasks, including powder dispersion, deagglomeration, pureeing of soft solids, solubilization, emulsification and homogenization. The mixer has 316 stainless steel wetted parts and a variable frequency drive that provides speed control from 500 to 10,000 rpm, the company says.
