Tony La Russa, the newly elected Hall of famer and co-founder of Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), will be appearing at Global Pet Expo on March 12, 2014, at 11 a.m., at the Central Garden & Pet Booth (#1901) to announce a new partnership with two of Central's brands, AvoDerm Natural Pet Foods and Nylabone, that will help bring thousands of families and their dogs to Major League baseball games around the country while also raising awareness for pet adoption, health and welfare.
American Pet Products Association (APPA) President & CEO Bob Vetere will also be in attendance at the press conference. The Association's Pets Add Life (PAL) campaign will be included as part of the program's overall mission to celebrate the joys of responsible pet ownership and to inspire people to adopt a pet and/or get a PAL for their pet.
