In celebration of National Pet Wellness month, Hill's Science Diet Ideal Balance petfood is partnering with petMD for an interactive quiz designed to help pet owners better understand dog nutrition.
During the month of October, pet owners who participate in the survey will receive a rebate for Hill's Science Diet Ideal Balance petfood and will be entered for a chance to win one of four US$2,500 pet retailer gift cards.
"As a practicing veterinarian, I'm always talking to owners about proper dog nutrition," said petMD spokeswoman, Dr. Jennifer Coates, DVM. "One of the most important pieces of information I tell them is that you have to look for a food that not only contains wholesome ingredients, but also has the right balance of high quality carbohydrates, protein, minerals, vitamins, fats and oils."
