Royal Canin offers petfood to meet individual dog's needs

Company says its petfood's kibble size, ingredients are specifically formulated for different dog breeds, lifestages

      Release Date: Comments(0)

Royal Canin says its petfood is specifically formulated to meet the needs of dogs, with special kibble sizes and low ingestible proteins.

Low ingestible proteins are highly digestible proteins that the company says it uses in its petfoods to reduce the amount of undigested remains that reach the dog's colon. Royal Canin also says it take the size of kibble into consideration when producing the food, in order to offer the right sizes and shapes to meet dogs' needs.

Royal Canin dog foods are divided into three main categories: Canine Breed Nutrition, Canine Vet Care Nutrition and Royal Canin Veterinary Diet. The Canine Breed Nutrition range is breed-specific food developed to meet the needs of over 15 different dog breeds, ranging from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane. The Canine Vet Care Nutrition is a veterinary-exclusive lifestage diet, which includes Pediatric, Adult and Senior Consult formulas. The Royal Canin Veterinary Diet foods are prescribed by a veterinarian and are formulated for the nutritional support of dogs with specific clinical conditions, including foods for the management of obesity, urinary, gastro-intestinal, renal, mobility and sensitivity control.
