Wenger expands Sabetha, Kansas, USA dryer production facility

Company plans to add jobs with 50% production capacity increase

      Release Date: Comments(0)

Wenger Manufacturing announced the expansion of its dryer production facility in Sabetha, Kansas, USA by 45,000 square feet and increased production capacity by nearly 50%.

The decision to enlarge the facility was determined by the backlog from increased demand for Wenger dryers.

“Over the past few years, we’ve put quite an emphasis on dryers,” said Robert Sunderland, Wenger's director of dryer technology. “That has led not only to an increase in market share, but to the development of the new Wenger Enhanced Sanitary Dryer, which means we’re also adding another model to the production mix.”

Once the expansion is complete, the company plans to add employees to keep up with the increased production capacity, according Brad Wenger, vice president of manufacturing and engineering.
