Ohio Pet Foods Inc. has begun managing
the former Chenango Valley Pet Foods facility and has reopened it under a new
name, Southern Tier Pet Nutrition (STPN), according to Matt Golladay, VP of
Ohio Pet Foods.
Chenango Valley, located in
Sherburne, New York, USA, recently closed after 80 years in business making
premium natural and organic petfoods for a variety of clients. Ohio Pet Foods, which produces
its own Blackwood Pet Food brand along with private label petfoods, has
partnered with BHC Interim Funding III LP, which recently acquired the assets of
Chenango Valley Pet Foods Inc., Golladay said.
Golladay added that production has
restarted as STPN, and several production changes and upgrades will be complete
soon. The facility currently offers
