Romer Labs TraitChek semi-quantitative GMO measurement

Romer Labs extended its GMO testing portfolio to include semi-quantitative measurement of GMO traits with TraitChek. With these applications, the content level of CP4 EPSPS, PAT, Cry1Ab, Cry3Bb1, Cry34Ab1, Cry9C and Cry1F proteins, registered corn and soy GMO traits, can be evaluated in a semi-quantitative way. TraitChek provides information about the GMO concentration after a five-minute incubation period, the company says. The AgraStrip GMO TraitChek semi-quantitative test strips or Lateral Flow Devices are read, using the Romer Labs AgraStrip XReader. The detected GMO content level is calculated by supplied software and displayed in ranges.
