Procter & Gamble recalled select lines of its Iams and Eukanuba brand dry petfoods because of possible Salmonella contamination.
The recall affects all varieties, UPC codes and sizes of the following product lines: Iams Veterinary Dry Formulas, Eukanuba Naturally Wild, Eukanuba Pure and Eukanuba Custom Care Sensitive Skin. All products have "best-by" dates of 7/1/10 through 1/12/11. The products were all produced in a single facility, and were distributed through veterinary clinics and pet specialty stores throughout the US and Canada.
