NASC honors pet companies with awards for commitment to quality

National Animal Supplement Council hosted its inaugural awards dinner at its annual conference on May 12 in San Diego, California, USA. Fifteen companies and individuals were honored for going above and beyond in their commitment to quality, education and improving the standards of the animal health supplement industry.

Fifteen companies and individuals were honored for going above and beyond in their commitment to quality, education and improving the standards of the animal health supplement industry.

NASC presented Susan Domizi, president and founder of Source Inc., with a lifetime achievement award for her dedication and major contributions to the animal health supplement industry. Petco received a superior partnership award for education about animal health supplements in the retail channel, promoting the NASC Quality Seal. Pharmore Ingredients and TSI Inc. both received MVP supplier awards in recognition of the companies' commitment to quality at the ingredient level.

In addition, 11 NASC-audited member companies received a visibility award for efforts above and beyond in promoting the goals of NASC and the NASC Quality Seal. The recipients included Arenus, Bomac Vets Plus Inc., Food Science Corp., The Garmon Corp., Genesis Ltd., Grand Meadows Nutritional Products Inc., In Clover, Med-Vet Pharmaceuticals, Nutri-Vet, Response Products and Silver Lining Herbs.
