Kodo Inc. has purchased North American Precise brands and ANF brands from Texas Farm Products Co.
Kodo is a St. Helena, California, USA-based global pet food company and has owned and represented these brands outside of Canada and the US since 2007, and has utilized Texas Farm Products Co., as its US-based pet food manufacturer.
The products from these brands will still be made at the Texas Farm Products manufacturing plant in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Kodo will grow the ANF and North American Precise brands worldwide, concentrating on brand building, customer service and awareness. The North American Precise sales team will be joining the company to enable a seamless transition.
Kodo pet foods are distributed in 31 countries and Puerto Rico.
Texas Farm Products is a fourth-generation family owned business that has a long history of responsible pet food manufacturing.
“Texas Farm Products Company is very appreciative of the relationships it has developed with the Precise and ANF employees and customers, and we wish them continued success in the future,” a Texas Farm Products spokesperson said.
Texas Farm Products will focus on its private-label and co-pack businesses.
Details of the deal were undisclosed.
