PetSmart recalls Grreat Choice canned dog food

The recalled formula was adult canned chicken and rice classic ground dog food.

PetSmart issued a voluntary recall of one production lot of Grreat Choice adult dog food with chicken and rice classic ground in 13.2-ounce cans.

The voluntary recall is a precautionary action due to metal contamination found in the single lot identified below. No other Grreat Choice products are impacted by this issue. PetSmart is not aware of any dogs becoming ill or injured from this product.

UPC code for the recalled lot: 7-3725726116-7

Best by date: 8/5/19

Lot number: 1759338

The best by date is found on the bottom of the can.

PetSmart advises customers to stop feeding this product to their pets and bring any remaining cans affected by this recall to their nearest PetSmart for a full refund.
