Premier Tech Chronos offers the ORT-2003 automatic bag width adjustment option. It is an option offered to complement the standard Premier Tech finger gripper, the ART-201, and eliminate manual adjustments for bag size changeover. This feature allows the robot to automatically adjust the gripper opening when changing bag size. Since this adjustment is controlled by the robot using a servomotor, it provides accurate positioning and saves time, according to the company. It also gives the possibility of palletizing more than one bag size at a time (e.g. 2 bag inputs with 2 pallet outputs).
