Maryland Department of Agriculture pet food regulations hearing

The Maryland Department of Agriculture is proposing new regulations to establish the requirements for registering pet food and specialty food prior to distribution in Maryland.
 
These rules establish labeling requirements, dietary requirements, nutrient profiles, and other requirements that are necessary for consumers to make educated decisions when purchasing pet food or specialty pet food.
