Eurofins Scientific Inc. , an analytical and technical support company to the agri-food industry, announced it will expand its services to include food safety management system audits and certifications for the North American market.
With authorization from the Food Marketing Institute, owners of the Safe Quality Food Institute and the Safe Quality Food program (SQF), Eurofins has assumed the SQF license formerly held by Quality Auditing Institute, Ltd., which has ceased its food sector operations.
Eurofins will offer SQF audits in the North American market under the umbrella of its sister company based in France, Eurofins Certification .
