The H.H. Backer 21st Annual Pet Industry Spring Trade Show , held in early April in in Baltimore, Md., USA, drew more than 5,300 registered buyers, according to the company.
There were 253 exhibitors present in addition to 66 new exhibitors at the Backer show, according to trade show director Colette Fairchild.
"Despite what's going on with the economy, the Backer spring show performed well beyond the expectations of most," Fairchild said.
