University vet hospital gets new kitchen

More than 40 different dogs and 30 different cats will benefit from the newly designed kitchen at Purdue University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital, according to an article from The Exponent.

More than 40 different dogs and 30 different cats will benefit from the newly designed kitchen at Purdue University's  Veterinary Teaching Hospital , according to an  article from The Exponent .

"The kitchen is designed to maximize exposure of the tremendous variety of commercially available foods by having each diet easily visible while simultaneously teaching the proper storage and handling of petfood in a hospital setting," said clinical assistant professor Nolie Parnell. 

The kitchen also contains new appliances and books to educate students on nutritional requirements for pets.
