Jones Naturals LLC, leading manufacturer of natural, American-made dog treats and chews, is investing more than $1 million in cutting-edge manufacturing equipment to meet record-setting demand. With a best-in-class fill rate of 99%, Jones Naturals is increasing its manufacturing capacity to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality across its three-brand platform.
The new equipment will streamline Jones Naturals’ manufacturing efficiencies and add capacity to support innovative product development, as well as keep up with the continued demand.
“Jones Naturals has experienced unprecedented growth over the last year and a half, but one thing that has not changed is our commitment to producing the highest-quality, American- made dog treats and chews,” said Joe Wallington, President and CEO of Jones Naturals. “By adding state-of-the-art equipment to our existing facilities and streamlining our manufacturing process, we will be able to continue to meet the demand from our customers on a national level while keeping manufacturing jobs right here in Rockford.”
The company’s growth stems from continued support from Jones Naturals investment partners and the 2017 launch of a multi-channel brand strategy built on its 160-year-old commitment to using only American-sourced natural products and an unmatched track record of 99% on-time delivery. This year, Jones Naturals launched the Grass Valley Farm brand, complementing its existing brands, The Country Butcher and flagship Jones Natural Chews. The Jones Natural Chews brand also features the Jones Select line of super-premium treats and chews, with exotic and organic protein options, unique nutritional blends, single-ingredient selections and training treats.
The company has also increased its workforce to accommodate the increased demand, now employing more than 200 people (up 80% over two years) and expanding hours of production to a 24-hour cycle 7 days a week.
Since the 1850s, the family-owned Jones Naturals has emerged from six generations of butchers and a hometown meat market to the leader in natural, 100% American-made dog treats and chews. That heritage continues today from America’s heartland, with more than 85 meat cuts, chews and snacks for dogs of all sizes.
