Dogster , a networking site for all things dogs, is reporting a 20% increase in ad sales this year, according to reports . The company credits this to its direct relationships with petfood, supply and other consumer brands.
Many of the ads are formatted as coupons and contests, including a recent coupon from Royal Canin Cat Food, resulting in 5,000 takers. Dogster and Catster charge US$10-US$12 CPMs for ads on the sites.
The site also is now sellings ads for the Cheezburger Network, including IHasaHotdog and ICanHazCheezburger .
