Hill’s adds lot code to excess vitamin D dog food recall

This relates to the same vitamin premix that led to the Jan. 31 voluntary recall.
Hill’s Pet Nutrition stated that a single can date/lot code within an already recalled case of dog food was inadvertently omitted from the company’s list of dog foods recalled for excessive vitamin D levels.

Thorgersen Family Farm recalls raw llama meat pet foods

Thogersen Family Farm of Stanwood, Washington is voluntarily recalling raw frozen ground pet food because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The following varieties, packaged in two pound packs, are included in this recall: course ground rabbit, course ground mallard duck, ground llama, and ground pork frozen raw pet food.

Woody’s Pet Food Deli raw turkey recalled for Salmonella

The recalled product was sold in 5-pound plastic containers labeled “Woody’s Pet Food Deli Raw Free Range Turkey.”
Sampling was begun after the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) identified a human case of Salmonella linked to the pet food.

FDA warns A+ Answers beef dog food may contain Salmonella

The United States Food and Drug Administration is alerting pet owners that A+ Answers Straight Beef Formula for Dogs, lot 2018 20/08 20, has tested positive for Salmonella.
Lystn, LLC, also doing business as Answers Pet Food, is the brand owner of A+ Answers Straight Beef Formula for Dogs and has recalled the affected lot in Nebraska, but has not implemented a nationwide recall.
