Benyfit Natural Pet Food Ltd. recalled several types of frozen raw dog food products containing beef because the products might contain Salmonella, according to the United Kingdom’s Food Standards Agency.
These products have been sold by various independent pet food stores in the UK and online.

These products are most commonly sold in pet specialty retailers and online throughout the United States and Canada.
The J. M. Smucker Company announced a voluntary recall of one lot of Natural Balance Ultra Premium Chicken & Liver Paté Formula canned cat food due to health concerns likely associated with elevated levels of choline chloride.

Carnivora raw pet food recalled in Canada for E. coli

As of the recall date, the company had been made aware of four reports of illnesses in Canada. Approximately 1,803 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.
On June 12, Canadian health officials announced the recall of Carnivora Fresh Frozen Patties for Dogs and Cats. The recalled pet food may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157 (E. coli) and there is risk of cross contamination and illness after handling the pet food.

IcelandicPlus changed their Capelin supplier to ensure that the fish in their products are consistently less than 5 inches, or if larger, they will be completely eviscerated.
IcelandicPlus of Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania, USA recalled Capelin Pet Treats because some of the fish have exceeded the FDA compliance guideline for fish larger than 5 inches.

The J. M. Smucker Company voluntarily recalled specific lots of Special Kitty wet, canned cat food due to health concerns potentially associated with ingredients believed to not meet the company's quality and safety standards.
Ingesting affected product may cause nausea with excessive salivation, diarrhea or vomiting to more severe symptoms including difficulty walking, seizures and, in extreme situations, death.
