The International Buyer Program is coordinated through the U.S. Department of Commerce. It brings international buyers to the IPE and IFE to meet with U.S. companies exhibiting at the trade show. And, exhibitors can explore export opportunities with agency commercial specialists. The program makes it convenient for the buyers to visit with many suppliers in one location, and it increases the profile of poultry and feed industry supplier firms. The agency's world-wide promotion network includes offices in 85 nations. The show is attended by 19,000 industry leaders from throughout the U.S. and over 100 countries.
The main attraction is the huge exhibit floor where more than 900 companies display the latest technology, supplies, and services used in the production and processing of poultry, eggs, and feed products. Many companies use the show to introduce their new products. The IFE/IPE is the complete event. Cutting-edge education programs keep industry leaders informed on the latest issues facing the poultry and feed industries. The College Student Career Program attracts several hundred graduating students from universities around the nation. Industry and allied company human resource professionals conduct job and internship interviews. A variety of amenities and special events are provided during the show: cyber centers are available for accessing the internet, and free Wi-Fi throughout the exhibit halls lets visitors stay connected.
