The Institute for Feed Education and Research (IFEEDER), in conjunction with The Context Network, has launched the first installment of its Sustainability Road Map on-demand webinar series. Over the course of several weeks, IFEEDER will unveil on-demand videos that address the definitional complexities of sustainability, explore food supply chain transparency expectations and discuss carbon market opportunities.
The first webinar, “Defining Sustainability,” is now available in two versions – a short, 9-minute highlights video and the full 27-minute-deep dive. In the video, Kim Stackhouse-Lawson, Ph.D., director of AgNext, and Matt Sutton-Vermeulen, principal of The Context Network, ask viewers to consider how their organizations define sustainable feed and pet food, what role emotion has in sustainability relative to science and ways to take a proactive, versus defensive, stance in addressing sustainability.
The second webinar, “Downstream Expectations,” is expected to be released Sept. 22, with the third webinar, “Agricultural Carbon,” following on Sept. 29. All webinars will be posted at ifeeder.org/sustainability.https://ifeeder.org/sustainability/
