Dr. Jan Suchodolski, Professor and Associate Director of the Gastrointestinal Laboratory at Texas A&M University
Dr. Jan S. Suchodolski graduated with a veterinary degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria. After working for several years in a small animal specialty clinic he returned to academia and received his his PhD in Veterinary Microbiology from Texas A&M University for his work on molecular markers for the assessment of the intestinal microbiota. He is board-certified in immunology by the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists (ACVM). He currently serves as Professor and Associate Director of the Gastrointestinal Laboratory at Texas A&M University.
Cécile Sampsonis, Ph.D., R&D Manager for Product Formulation at Phileo by Lesaffre
Cécile Sampsonis, graduated with a PhD degree in Feed Process Engineering from the University of Nantes, in France, she has a 15 year-experience in Probiotic Industry. With a first position dedicated to stability assessment of probiotics in different feed matrixes for multiple animal species, she is currently within the R&D Department of Phileo by Lesaffre, in charge of the development of innovative products and formulations. She has contributed to different patents and peer-review articles.
