Dr Julia Guazzelli Pezzali 90pxDr. Julia Pezzali, assistant professor in companion animal nutrition, Iowa State University

Dr. Julia Pezzali has a Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition from the University of Guelph and an MSc in Grain Science from Kansas State University, where she developed high-value treats for dogs using sorghum crisps. She is currently an Assistant Professor in companion animal nutrition at Iowa State University. Her research program focuses on investigating the impact of novel ingredients, processing conditions, and nutritional interventions on the nutrient digestion and metabolism of dogs and cats.

Guy Allen serves as the Senior Economist for the International Grains Program Institute at Kansas State University. In this role, he provides technical and research-based training and programs on supply chains, commodity markets, and the risk management of agricultural commodities benefiting industry professionals globally.
