Organizers of Petfood Forum 2023 are seeking abstracts for noncommercial oral presentations and research posters for the conference, scheduled May 1-3 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Abstracts are due October 31, 2022.

Potential speakers are invited to submit abstracts on topics including, but not limited to, supply chain disruptions (outlooks, causes and alleviation strategies); labor shortages; new research or information on companion animal nutrition, novel ingredients, pet food safety, processing, packaging or regulatory matters; data, trends and predictions for the pet food market, including opportunities for innovation; pet food types and categories, including less traditional formats; new pet food retailing information, including e-commerce; new marketing ideas or techniques; and new product development.

Review and selection of pet food abstracts

An advisory board of pet food industry experts will evaluate all submissions for relevance of topic, presence of new or innovative information, concepts or research — originality is key — and the proposed speaker’s experience or background with the topic.

No abstract will be considered if it seems commercial or if it has been published or presented prior to Petfood Forum 2023. Abstracts similar in title or content to previously presented material should include significant new information.

More information on the call for papers is available at PetfoodForumEvents.com.

Petfood Forum 2023 to include multiple learning, networking events

Selected abstracts, which will be determined by the end of 2022, will comprise the Petfood Forum 2023 conference program and industry research poster offerings. The conference will also include an opening keynote, general sessions and panel discussions on important industry topics.

In addition, participants can learn from Tech Talks presented by sponsoring companies, as well as the latest research conducted by students in academic programs focused on pet food and companion animal nutrition. Petfood Forum 2023 will also feature multiple networking opportunities, a large exhibit hall with several experiences and visiting pet charities.

Registration for the conference and trade show will open in October 2022.
