Natural Products Association MarketPlace trade show suspended

Organizers suspend show, scheduled to be held June 27-29, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

      Release Date: Comments(0)

Organizers of the Natural Products Association MarketPlace trade show, scheduled to be held June 27 -29, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, have suspended the natural products show.

The trade show is produced by New Hope Natural Media, a division of Penton Media Inc., and the Natural Products Association.

“We plan to shift our emphasis to further develop our partnership with the Natural Products Association,” said Fred Linder, president of New Hope Natural Media. “This shift will create new opportunities for the natural products industry, surrounding our trade shows.”

According to the National Products Association, the show had 86 exhibitors signed up, including nine in the pet industry.

“The Natural Products Association appreciates the work we’ve done with New Hope throughout the years,” said John Shaw, the association’s executive director and CEO. “While it is unfortunate the show won’t go on, we understand the business reasons behind it. NPA has always sought to connect retailers and suppliers in the marketplace. We are committed to this goal and our work with New Hope to achieve it."
