Three Dog Bakery names Kristi Ross as CEO

Ross was most recently the chief marketing officer at Targeted PetCare and spent 16 years at Nestlé Purina.

Ross brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in pet care and consumer packaged goods and was most recently the chief marketing officer at Targeted PetCare, a private equity-backed pet platform, where she was responsible for marketing, e-commerce and new product development. Prior to Targeted PetCare, Ross spent 16 years at Nestlé Purina where she held leadership positions across the commercial organization and was responsible for marketing and sales.

Jerry Dear will continue to play a key leadership role as president of Three Dog Brands. The company said Dear has successfully grown the portfolio over the past 11 years through establishing strong customer relationships, growing distribution and launching innovative products. Ross and Dear together will bring expertise and knowledge will help take Three Dog Brands to the next level of growth, said the company.

According to Petfood Industry's Top Pet Food Companies, Three Dog Brands, a Topspin Consumer Partners portfolio company, was established in 1989 as the first all-nautral baker for dogs. The company focuses on the premium, all-natural, made-in-the-USA pet treat market.
