In the dry pet food sector, Total Alimentos has introduced its Max Professional Line for dogs and Max Cat Professional Line for cats, a product line frere of dyes and artificial preservatives. Additionally, Professional Line products bring to the premium special category ingredients that are usually only used in the superpremium category, like flaxseed, dehydrated egg, L-carnitine, chondroitin and glucosamine.
Professional Line products include deboned chicken to improve its palatability. The Professional Line recipes are also made using Yucca schidigera extract, a natural ingredient that helps in reduction of fecal odor.
Total Alimentos also introduced Naturalis for cats, a formula free of artificial dyes, flavors and preservatives.
In the superpremium category, Total Alimentos also launched Equilíbrio Grain Free, a dry pet food for dogs. Equilíbrio Grain Free is a formula free from grain, gluten, GMO, dye, flavor and preservatives. This pet food is formulated with high value protein and reduced carbohydrates derived from seeds and cereals.
