The HACCP SmartStep2 Walk-Through Dual Footwear Sanitizing Unit from Best Sanitizers Inc. adds an additional layer of pathogen protection for food and pet food processing facilities by reducing cross-contamination from footwear before employees enter the production area or other critical control zones. This foot-operated unit uses compressed air to deliver an atomized spray of Alpet D2 or Alpet D2 Quat-Free Surface Sanitizer to the bottom of footwear soles.
The HACCP SmartStep2’s dual footwear, walk-though design provides greater throughput while maintaining a compact footprint (27Lx33Wx44H), meaning it can go practically anywhere in the facility. The unit is made up for eight atomizing spray nozzles (four per boot) to provide ample coverage to footwear soles yet uses only 0.4 ounces of chemical (0.2 oz per boot), which minimizes chemical waste and improves moisture control.
