Indigenous Pet Products, an innovation-driven manufacturer and supplier of pet products, announces a new formulation of Pegetables Nature’s Dog Chews. The premium dog treat now features dental benefits in addition to improvements in taste and texture. Pegetables now contains the Plaque Off System and has been reformulated to further help reduce plaque and tarter buildup while keeping breath fresh. The result is a dramatic improvement in palatability. Beyond taste and texture, the product is also nutritious and highly digestible. The new Pegetables are more pliable, creating a longer-lasting treat with more opportunity to mechanically remove plaque and tartar. In testing, Pegetables performed as well as or better compared to the market leader in acceptance by dogs the first time they were presented with the treat, and again over the long term. To meet the needs of all dogs, Pegetables are available in three different flavors and shapes. While similar products use the same ingredients in each flavor and simply add color for differentiation, each Pegetables flavor has a dedicated core of ingredients:

  • Sweet Potatoes: Made with sweet potatoes, an excellent source of fiber, minerals and vitamins, including beta-carotene
  • Peas: Made with peas, an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
  • Carrots: Made with carrots, an excellent source of antioxidants, rich in beta-carotene and other nutrients

The chews are corn-, wheat-, grain- and gluten-free, and available in various weights and sizes for small and large dogs. The revamped Pegetables give pet owners peace of mind knowing they are feeding their pets treats that are healthy, taste great and are made from natural ingredients. All products from Indigenous Pet Products are made in the United States and can be found in specialty pet stores across North America.
