Greg AldrichGreg Aldrich, PhD, Research Professor, Grain Science & Industry, K-State Pet Food Program Coordinator and President of Pet Food & Ingredient Technology, Inc.

Greg Aldrich, PhD, president of Pet Food & Ingredient Technology Inc., is an independent nutritionist specializing in foods, ingredients and nutrition for companion animals, as well as research professor and petfood program coordinator for the petfood research production program at Kansas State University. He writes a monthly column for Petfood Industry magazine on ingredient issues. Aldrich earned his doctorate in nutrition from the University of Illinois, a master of science from the University of Missouri and bachelor of science from Kansas State. He has held management and technical positions with Co-op Feeds, the Iams Co., Kemin Industries Inc. and Menu Foods Ltd. He is a member of the American Society of Animal Science, American Society for Nutrition and American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition.

Bill Bookout is president, board chairman and a founding member of the National Animal Supplement Council the world’s leading trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of supplements for dogs, cats and horses. He was selected to serve on the Health Canada Expert Advisory Committee for Veterinary Natural Health Products and has been an ambassador for the industry for over 20 years. Bookout is recognized as a leading expert on regulatory issues surrounding animal health and nutritional supplements, has testified on behalf of the industry at Food and Drug Administration public meetings and has participated in countless educational programs, legal forums, regulatory trainings, trade events and other professional meetings. He received his bachelor’s degree in physical sciences from the University of Wyoming and his MBA from the Pepperdine University Presidents and Key Executives program.
