Speaker Information:
Barna got his master's degree in Bioscience Engineering and Economy at the Pannon University in Hungary (1997). At BESTMIX Software, he has been active for many years as a senior consultant in the ERP division and as a solution architect. In his current position as Sr. Product Manager ERP, he keeps close track of the IT developments within the nutrition industry and works in close collaboration with major players in feed and petfood production. Given his experience as a consultant for many international feed companies, Barna is in a perfect position to look at the role of BESTMIX® in feed manufacturing organizations and its integration with other software. Furthermore, a special interest in risk management and in how to integrate this with other important business processes in the nutrition industry, such as procurement, budgeting, formulation, and finance.
As an ERP consultant for BESTMIX, Veronica has a strong passion for process improvement and automation. She received her undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans, with a master’s degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. Veronica worked as a business analyst in the feed manufacturing industry for nearly eight years, learning as much as she could about the industry. Her Electrical Engineering knowledge allowed her to support plant automation projects, which has been valuable in her role at BESTMIX, integrating with similar software. Pricing is also a passion for Veronica, as she has attended several conferences, learning about best practices in various industries and networking with pricing professionals around the globe.This experience has led her to specialize in sales and pricing at BESTMIX. Transitioning from industry to consulting felt natural for Veronica and allowed her to bring that industry knowledge to the table for BESTMIX customers.
