Morales Ventures is a pet food supply chain partner. We help pet food brands find and onboard co-manufacturers, source proteins and raw materials, and tour and audit plants for companies getting into pet food. We also help co-manufacturers fill open line time.

Founded by Javier Morales, who brings almost 20 years of pet food procurement, manufacturing and supply chain experience. He has toured more than 100 farms and processing plants in the US and abroad. Elias Morales brings the finance and deal side, with a background in pet food M&A at J.P. Morgan and Lincoln International and private equity in Abu Dhabi.

Co-manufacturer placement: we match gently cooked, raw, freeze-dried and kibble brands with plants that can run their product, from 100,000 to 30 million lb a year, and stay with them through trials and first production. Most projects reach a sample run in 3 to 6 months.

Protein sourcing: chicken, beef, pork, duck, seafood (salmon, cod, pollock, tuna), venison, rabbit and specialty proteins from domestic and international plants. We hold contracts on a range of proteins, and clients typically save 8 to 13% year over year. Lead times are 2 to 14 days, with spec sheets and COAs on every load. Now booking contracts.
