Hanjoo Chae, manager of technical development team, Ingredion

As the manager of Ingredion’s technical development team, Hanjoo Chae’s responsibilities include providing technical expertise and support to customers for a broad range of pet food and treat applications. He helps with bench top and pilot plant formulation development and in identifying how pet food and treat customers can enhance and expand their product offerings with Ingredion’s technologies and ingredient solutions. Prior to joining Ingredion, Hanjoo spent 10 years in research and development at Nongshim Co. in Korea before joining National Starch’s Asia Pacific region in 2000. He moved to the North American technical development team in 2004. Hanjoo holds a Ph.D. in food biotechnology from Yonsei University in Korea.
