Globally the pet food market dominated by the US, but what about the rest of the world? Drawing on GfK’s point-of-sale (POS) databases around the globe, we’ll explore the pet food trends driving sales the UK, France, Spain, China, and South Africa vs. the US.  Are dogs “barking the loudest,” or are cats equally popular and pampered? Are treats important, or do owners rely on table scratch to indulge their pets? Are high-growth categories like Natural and Grain-free also big like in the US? Is raw/freeze-dried “the next big thing” in other countries, as they seem to be in the US?

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  • What pet food trends are leading pet food sales in Europe, China and South Africa versus the USA?
  • What food types (dry/wet/treats) and features (natural, grain-free, raw/freeze-dried) are driving the pet marketplace today?
  • How are consumer trends shaping the current global pet food market?

This webinar is sponsored by Extru-Tech Inc., and presented by Petfood Industry and WATT Global Media.
