Syensqo announced its entry into the pet food nutrition market with natural flavor and preservation solutions at Food Ingredients Europe 2025. The company, which previously focused on consumer food and beverages, will present ingredients designed to enhance flavor and freshness in pet food applications.
For pet nutrition, Syensqo will offer Rhovea Feed, a vanillin grade developed for pet and animal nutrition to improve palatability, mask off-notes and enhance flavor balance. The company also introduced Riza 35, a deodorized rosemary extract that provides antioxidant protection in pet food without affecting taste or aroma.
"Driven by the humanization of pet food, these innovations help manufacturers create recipes that combine taste and quality similar to human food," the company said.
