Wenger Manufacturing's C2TX twinscrew extruder features co-rotating conical screws that knead ingredients as they are forced into the extruder. The conical intermeshing co-rotating screws provide natural compression from the low density of a preconditioned recipe at the extruder inlet to the dense dough mass at the screw discharge, according to the company.
