Graduated from the University of Santiago of Chile as Food Engineer.   His experience in the Extrusion processes ranges from 1993 (23 years ago) when he began working with Wenger in the Chilean salmon industry market. From there onwards this industry has become one of the most important markets in the world of aquaculture. He has also participated very actively in the development of pet food and aquaculture markets in Latin America. 

Almost 15 years ago is responsible of the Latin American and Caribbean market of Extru-Tech as Director of Sales Latin American of Extru-Tech Inc.

DVM title from the University of Mexico and MBA studies from the Monterrey Technological Institute. Miguel has 26 years of experience in the Research and Development area of pet food with knowledge of formulation, ingredients, quality, processing, animal testing, regulatory, packaging and technical communications.  He has worked as an advisor for different pet food companies in USA and Latin America and has been speaker in specialized events in Mexico and other countries.
