Hanjoo Chae, Manager Technical Development, Innovation, Ingredion
Hanjoo Chae is the Manager, Technical Development Team for Ingredion Incorporated which has over a 100 year history of providing ingredient solutions and innovation globally. His responsibilities include providing technical expertise and support to customers for a broad range of pet food/treat applications as well as for human food and beverage. He incorporates his high level of knowledge of Ingredion’s technologies and applications with customers’ products on Bench top/ Pilot plant formulation development. He helps identify how pet food/treat customers can enhance and expand their product offerings by using Ingredion’s technologies and ingredient solutions. Prior to joining Ingredion Incorporated, Hanjoo worked for 10 years at the R&D Center for Nongshim Co. Korea before joining National Starch’s Asia Pacific Region in 2000. He came over to the North America Technical Service team in 2004 as a Technical Service Manager prior to it becoming Ingredion Incorporated. Hanjoo holds a Ph.D Food and Biotechnology from the Graduate School of Yonsei University, Korea.
Patrick Luchsinger, Manager, Marketing & Business Development - Pet Food Segment, Ingredion
Patrick Luchsinger is the Manager, Marketing & Business Development – Pet Food Segment at Ingredion Incorporated, which has over a 100 year history of providing ingredient solutions and innovation globally. A position he has held for over 1 an half years. His responsibilities include developing new products for the pet food market, researching and understanding pet food market insights, and managing product lines for Pet Food. He works to ensure accomplishment of regional pet food business objectives regarding ingredients and works collaboratively with the regional Go to Market team. Prior to his current position at Ingredion Incorporated, Patrick worked for 8 year at Ingredion as a Marketing Manager for Nutritional Ingredients. Previous to Ingredion he spent 10 years with Lipid Nutirtion BV in the food/dietary supplement industry as the North American Marketing Manager, responsible for the marketing and implementation of strategy for their nutritional ingredient lines in North America. Patrick holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Lewis University and a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences from the University of Illinois.
