In 2017, the company launched Canidae Farms, in Kansas, USA, where it grows its own pet food ingredients — an estimated harvest of 1 million pounds in the first year. Canidae also operates a Texas, USA, plant called Ethos Pet Nutrition, which includes an R&D unit. The company focuses on using natural ingredients.
