Potatoes, either white or sweet, are used in 42.6 percent of dry dog food recipes, 46.1 percent of wet dog food recipes, 39.2 percent of dry cat food recipes and 23 percent of wet cat food recipes, according to an analysis of Petfood Industry’s Dog and Cat Food Ingredient Center database.
