Vet Works pill treats are hickory-bacon-flavored, cylindrical soft chews that contain a malleable hole in the middle in which to place a tablet or capsule. The soft chew is to be pinched closed around the hole once the medication is placed inside, according to the company. Pill treats contain no wheat and avoid use of the artificial preservatives BHA and BHT. Cost is US$7.69 for a 60 pill treat bag.
