
Scoochie Pet Products has named B&B Pet Stop of Mobile, Alabama, its 2025 Retailer of the Year and Mounds Pet Food Warehouse in Wisconsin the recipient of its Customer Appreciation Award. Both independent pet retailers have partnered with Scoochie since the company’s founding in 2014.
“B&B and Mounds have been with us from the very beginning,” said Gary Jacobs, president and CEO of Scoochie Pet Products. “They embody the values we admire —integrity, innovation and a love for pets. These awards are a celebration of their impact on the pet industry and our shared success.”
B&B Pet Stop, established in 1981, has expanded from a 600-square-foot shop into one of the country’s early full-line pet superstores. The retailer is known for its broad inventory, knowledgeable staff, and community involvement, having raised over $365,000 for local pet charities.
Wisconsin-based Mounds Pet Food Warehouse was founded in 1969 and now operates five employee-owned locations. The company is recognized for its customer service, rescue and adoption partnerships, and sustained charitable giving that supports shelters and service animals.
“These partners helped launch Scoochie and continue to help us grow,” said Aidan Jorgensen, CFO of Scoochie Pet Products. “They’ve given us honest feedback, incredible support, and most importantly—shared our mission to bring joy to pets and the people who love them.”
