The Canadian Olympic Committee has partnered with Nulo in a four-year sponsorship agreement that designates the company as the Official Pet Nutrition Partner of Team Canada through the Milano Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
"Partnering with Team Canada is a proud moment for Nulo as we bring our brand into more Canadian homes than ever before," said Michael Landa, CEO of Nulo. "Canadians care deeply about their pets' health and wellbeing, and that aligns perfectly with our mission. Team Canada represents passion, performance, and heart — and that's exactly what Nulo brings to pet nutrition."
The partnership will provide Team Canada athletes who own dogs and cats access to Nulo's pet food products while supporting athlete training and development programs. The collaboration acknowledges the role pets play in providing emotional support to elite athletes.
"We are thrilled to welcome Nulo to Team Canada," said Jacqueline Ryan, chief brand and commercial officer of the COC and CEO of the Canadian Olympic Foundation. "Nulo's commitment to high performance and wellness aligns perfectly with our mission. We're excited to see how this partnership will elevate the athlete experience on the road to Milano Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028."
Two Canadian athletes, Marie-Philip Poulin and Mitch Marner, will participate in upcoming marketing campaigns featuring their pets Arlo and Zeus to highlight the bond between athletes and their animals.
"It's amazing to have Nulo as a sponsor for Team Canada," Poulin said. "Their support goes beyond just the athletes, providing the best nutrition for our pets – like Arlo – as well. It's unbelievable to partner with a brand of this caliber, knowing they're helping us give our animals the very best care and support."
Marner added, "I think it's incredible that Nulo has partnered with Team Canada. When it comes to feeding my dog, Zeus, I want the best, and Nulo provides that with high-quality ingredients for a healthier, happier life. That's what it's all about—products that make life better for both you and your pet."
