AFIA names Megan Provost chief operating officer

New COO brings two decades of agricultural leadership to drive AFIA’s strategic goals.

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) announced Megan Provost as its new chief operating officer, effective Oct. 20. In this role, Provost will oversee operational excellence, strategic execution, and organizational cohesion.

“AFIA is delighted to welcome Megan Provost,” said President and CEO Constance Cullman. “Her proven leadership and collaboration will strengthen our internal systems and enhance value for members. As a trusted advisor, she will help advance AFIA’s strategic goals and promote a mission-driven culture.”

She previously served as president of RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment), leading strategic growth and advocacy efforts. Her career also includes roles with the Farm Foundation, Dow AgroSciences, U.S. Senate, USDA, and American Farm Bureau Federation.

With a Juris Doctorate from George Washington University Law School and degrees in agricultural economics and agribusiness from Oklahoma State University, Provost’s deep commitment to agriculture and member advocacy positions her to advance AFIA’s mission and influence within the industry.
